A NON-SURGICAL APPROACH!
Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation:
The goal of pelvic floor rehabilitation is to strengthen the muscles between the pubic bone and tailbone- those surrounding the urethra and rectum. Strengthening these muscles helps with chronic pelvic pain, rectal pain, and associated symptoms. It will restore your quality of life!
Understanding the Cause:
Childbirth, Surgery, Injury, Aging, etc. can cause the pelvic floor muscles to weaken which results in diminished bladder control. Certain muscles may become overactive, causing a more frequent need to urinate, urgency issues and incontinence. Since the pelvic floor muscles surround both the urethra and the rectum, fecal incontinence is sometimes an issue as well.
